I’m Patrick Bertolino, a Houston commercial photographer with over 25 years of experience in architectural and commercial photography. From day one, my focus has been on creating clear, purpose-driven images that help businesses, brokers, and developers communicate what they’re working with.
Commercial photography means a lot of things to a lot of people. For me, it’s about capturing the buildings and environments that keep Houston running — medical offices, schools, retail stores, strip centers, apartments, and more.
This kind of work isn’t glamorous. It’s clean, accurate imagery that gets used in leasing packets, investment decks, and marketing campaigns. I shoot from the ground and from the air, working solo and delivering consistent results.
If it’s a building in Houston and it needs to be photographed, chances are I’ve already done it.

Reliable. Experienced. Just Me.
When you hire me, you’re not getting a team. You’re getting one person—start to finish—with decades of experience. I’ve built my reputation on showing up prepared, working efficiently, and delivering images that help people lease, sell, and promote properties.
Whether it’s a new clinic, a retail plaza, or a charter school campus, I know what matters. The images need to be sharp, clean, and ready for whatever your next move is. There’s no need for a creative brief or a walkthrough. I read the job order, I handle the logistics, and I solve problems as they come.

This isn’t about flash. It’s about showing what’s there—and making sure it looks right.
It’s Not Always Pretty. But It Leases.
One of the most requested jobs I get as a Houston commercial photographer is shooting strip centers. While they may not be glamorous, they’re crucial for brokers, leasing agents, and developers trying to fill space or sell the property.
How I Approach Strip Centers
I shoot both ground and aerial views. From the air, I capture traffic, anchor tenants, and surrounding businesses. From the ground, I focus on signage, entrances, and parking flow. These photos show exactly what tenants and buyers need to see.
Many clients ask for shoots to be scheduled during peak hours to highlight foot traffic and activity. It’s not always the prettiest shot—but that’s the point. It leases.
For some properties, I also create 3D aerial tours, which give brokers a dynamic way to present layout, location, and retail exposure.
Apartment photography is one of the most competitive areas of commercial work in Houston. Property managers rely on clean, modern images to market amenities, attract tenants, and showcase units online.
Smartphone photos can’t sell a multi-million-dollar property. My images show prospective residents how beautiful, modern, and sophisticated your community really is.

Schedule cleaning and landscaping before the shoot.
Keep landscaping crews away during my arrival window.
Clear parking spaces in front of the leasing office.
Close and clean the pool before 10am.
Ask tenants to vacate gyms and common areas briefly.
Monitor weather in the days leading up — cloudy is fine, rain may require rescheduling.
With a little prep, the images will shine — and so will your property.
I’m a Houston industrial photographer with over 25 years of experience capturing complex industrial environments. I don’t just show up with a camera — I arrive prepared with the right safety gear, mindset, and technical expertise to get the job done right.
I’m fully insured for up to $1,000,000, PPE compliant with hard hat, vest, boots, and goggles, and FAA Part 107 certified for drone work. I also have a background in hazardous site safety from my time in the U.S. Army as an NBC specialist.
Whether it’s a manufacturing plant, energy site, or waste facility, I’m ready to capture it safely and professionally.
Each project is different, but I bring the same level of focus and precision whether I’m photographing a small machine shop or a sprawling industrial facility. I tailor every shoot to the client’s needs while adhering to site protocols and safety expectations. I’m FAA Part 107 certified for commercial drone operations and hold a Master of Photography (M.Photog.) credential from the Professional Photographers of America — giving clients peace of mind in high-stakes environments.
I’ve photographed everything from warehouse interiors and logistics centers to chemical plants and infrastructure projects. No matter the scale or location, I focus on capturing visuals that reflect the operational reality — clearly, professionally, and with technical accuracy.
From facility documentation to executive presentations, I tailor each shoot to match the practical and visual needs of your team.
I’m available for one-time projects, long-term engagements, and everything in between.

Clean, Clear, and Professional—Just Like Your Space
Medical spaces require a specific visual tone: clean, calm, and functional. I’ve photographed everything from urgent care centers to dental clinics and medspas. These environments call for care—and speed.
Most of these shoots happen early in the morning or between patient blocks. I work fast, respect the space, and avoid getting in the way. You’ll get images that feel clinical without being cold—designed for websites, brochures, and investor updates.
If your office is being remodeled or expanded, I can document progress, final build-outs, or launch day visuals.
Retail Spaces That Look Ready for Business
Whether it’s a franchise or a boutique, retail spaces need photography that shows the brand in action. I work with business owners, developers, and agencies to create storefront and interior images that align with the client’s visual identity.
These shoots often take place while the store is open. I adapt quickly, avoid customers, and deliver images that feel active but polished. Exterior signage, point-of-sale areas, and product displays all get documented with clarity.
When possible, I coordinate multiple locations in a single day to keep things consistent across franchises or districts.
From Classrooms to Campuses
I photograph a lot of schools—especially charter campuses and specialty training centers. These clients often need everything photographed in a short window: exterior signage, entrances, classrooms, shared spaces, and offices.
Shoots typically happen over the weekend or during transition periods between semesters. I work solo and quickly to avoid disrupting operations. The images are used for enrollment campaigns, press releases, and website overhauls.
Every school is different. I take the time to understand the layout and adjust the shots accordingly.
Drone photography enhances almost every commercial shoot. From above, I capture layout, traffic, anchor tenants, and surrounding context.
I’m FAA Part 107 certified, which ensures compliance and reliability for all aerial work.

Fast Process. No Surprises.
Most of my clients are property managers, developers, and brokers. They don’t have time for overexplaining or complicated scheduling. They need someone who shows up, handles it, and delivers.
Here’s how I work:
I arrive solo—no crew, no disruption
I shoot wide angles, details, and context
I deliver images via a clean download folder
I include licensing for marketing, sales, and internal use
I offer drone and 3D options if needed
After 25 years, I’ve learned how to move quickly without sacrificing quality. You get the images you need—and you move on with your day.
